Ramin Zamani, M.D.
Biography:
Dr. Zamani was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and moved to the U.S. in 1998. He completed residency in diagnostic radiology at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport in 2004. After one year of fellowship sub-specializing in body imaging at University of Washington in Seattle, he returned back to Shreveport and joined Red River Consultants radiology group in July 2005. His main area of interest is MRI, including breast, various abdominal, prostate, cardiac, and musculoskeletal MRIs as well as PET scans and coronary CT-angiograms (CT scans of the heart). He is married, has two daughters, and enjoys playing tennis and guitar when possible.
