Heather Bracey, M.D.

Biography:

I am a 3rd generation Shreveport resident and a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School. I was awarded a BS in Medicine and Science in 1997 from LSUS and then earned my Doctorate in Medicine from LSU Medical School in Shreveport in 2000.  Following a year of internship in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, I completed Diagnostic Radiology residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  While completing my training in radiology, I became interested in and decided to pursue a fellowship (a special year of training after residency) in Breast Imaging. I joined Red River Consultants in January of 2015 as a Breast Imaging Specialist.  I am also the mother to 4 wonderful kids who keep me very busy when I’m not at work and the lucky wife to a wonderful husband. When there is a rare moment to myself, I love to knit, garden, and read.
